The Sara Lee Center for Women’s Health at Forsyth Medical Center in
Winston-Salem, NC ( a signature Novant Health facility) seeks an energetic
and enthusiastic individual to provide consumer-health library services to
its customers and the community. Reporting to the Center’s executive
director, this position will be responsible for administering all aspects of
library operations for the newly-created Health Resource Library. Key
emphasis will be on proactively working with the public as well as with the
staff of the Sara Lee Center’s Community Health Outreach Department to
provide consumer-related health information and programming.

superior reputation as a leader in women’s healthcare in the Triad region of
North Carolina.
QUALIFICATIONS: ALA-accredited MLS; 3-5 years library experience,
preferably in a health-care setting. Experience with: health-related
educational programming activities; digital resources; collection
development; cataloging principles and practice; library start-ups;
reference services and database searching; and budgeting. Strong interest
in interacting daily with public/consumers. Excellent planning, teaching,
and presentation skills; knowledge of medical terminology. Must possess
ability to work collegially in a diverse environment and as part of a team.
Bilingual/Spanish a plus.
