Position Summary: Reporting to the Director of Global Operations, this role is focused on Red Hat’s strategically important Knowledgebase content and processes. Responsibilities for this role include:Create and maintain Knowledgebase categories and taxonomyLead project implementation on behalf of Global Support Services Act as master editor for technical articles; final editing and approval before publishingAct as Knowledgebase application administrator and power userDevelop new integrated processes for Knowledgebase contribution from internal and external resources; drive those processes into daily support operations
Eventually establish and lead a Knowledgebase team of editors worldwide
Requirements Strong, true commitment to customersStrong understanding of knowledge management; the processes and the systems
Real world experience in maintaining and administering content within knowledge management systems
Excellent leadership skills
Excellent English skills
Strong sense of curiosity and self-motivation
Good technical base in Red Hat’s products and/or the ability to learn
Good statistical analysis skills
